Abstract:
Inflammatory cytokines may play an important role in the physiological and pathological mechanisms of behavioral symptoms in cancer patients.Peripheral blood inflammatory cytokines reach the brain via three principal pathways, shch as neural, humoral and cellular pathways, affecting the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA) and the release of various neurotransmitters, leading to the occurrence of symptom clusters. The article mainly reviews the relationship between inflammatory cytokines and the symptom clusters of cancer patients, focuses on the potential inflammatory mechanism of the symptom clusters of cancer patients, and proposes the prospect and direction of regulating the levels of inflammatory cytokines in treating the symptom clusters of cancer patients.
