Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the value of ultrasound-guided CNB combined with FNAC in the preoperative diagnosis of thyroid nodules.Methods:The results of 137 thyroid nodules confirmed by histology were retrospectively analyzed and compared with those of FNAC alone.Results:The sensitivity of CNB/FNAC and FNAC were 97.8% and 85.5% respectively.The specificity was 93.6% and 82.9%.The false positive rate was 6.4% and 17.1%.The false negative rate was 2.2% and 14.5%,and the total accuracy was 96.4% and 84.7% respectively.Conclusion:Ultrasound-guided CNB/FNAC is an accurate and reliable method for preoperative diagnosis of thyroid nodules,which can significantly improve the detection rate of thyroid malignant nodules and is worthy of clinical application.
