Abstract:
Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is the only noninvasive method to detect the diffusion motion of water molecular in living tissue.It has been widely used in the study of brain tumors and its response to therapy,because apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) has a certain correlation with the tumor cell structure and the classification of the tumor.The potential and applicability of ADC value for the diagnosis of the disease were determined.Intracranial germ cell tumors (IGCTs),as a rare intracranial tumor,is lack of characteristic clinical manifestations and specificity.This paper reviewed the relevant literature on the application of ADC in IGCTs and explored its relationship and application value.
