Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the effect and prognostic factors of airway benign tumor treated with combined cooling and heat ablation,and to construct a nomogram model to predict it.Methods:A total of 246 patients with benign airway tumors who were treated in our hospital from January 2016 to May 2022 were selected and treated with ablation technology.According to different prognosis,they were divided into stenosis group (n=36) and non-stenosis group (n=210).The influencing factors of the prognosis of patients with benign airway tumors were analyzed by univariate and multivariate analysis.The nomogram prediction model of benign tumor prognosis was constructed by R statistical software,and the concordance index (C-index) was calculated,and the calibration map and subjects were constructed.The operating characteristic curve (ROC) was used to evaluate the accuracy and predictive ability of the model.Results:In 246 patients with benign airway tumors,36 patients (14.63%) developed airway stenosis within 3 months of ablation treatment,and 210 patients (85.37%) did not develop airway stenosis.There were statistically significant differences in the history of diabetes mellitus,history of hypertension,operation method,infection,and tracheal diameter of the stenotic segment after operation (P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that history of diabetes mellitus,history of hypertension,surgical method,infection,and tracheal diameter of postoperative stenosis were all risk factors for the prognosis of patients with benign airway tumors (P<0.05).The calibration curve of the nomogram to predict the prognosis of benign airway tumors was basically consistent with the actual curve.Conclusion:The prognostic risk factors of patients with benign airway tumors include history of diabetes mellitus,history of hypertension,surgical method,infection,and tracheal diameter of postoperative stenosis.The nomogram model has good discrimination and accuracy for its prediction.
