Abstract:
Objective:To study the expression of BCAP31 in human colorectal carcinomas and pericarcinous tissues,and analyze its correlation with clinical pathological parameters.Methods:GEPIA and HPA database were used to analyze the expression of BCAP31 in colorectal cancer,and UALCAN database was used to analyze the expression of BCAP31 in colorectal cancer and its relationship with clinicopathological features of colorectal cancer.RT-qPCR and WB were used to detect the mRNA and protein expression of BCAP31 in colorectal cancer and pericarcinous tissues.Results:Compared with pericarcinous tissues,BCAP31 was highly expressed in colorectal cancer (P<0.05),and its expression was correlated with lymph node metastasis (P<0.05) and TNM stage (P<0.05),but not with age,gender,tumor site,tumor grade,T stage and M stage (P>0.05).Conclusion:BCAP31 is highly expressed in colorectal cancer and is associated with lymph node metastasis and TNM stage.BCAP31 can be used as a molecular marker for the treatment and diagnosis of colorectal cancer.
