Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the clinicopathological features, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of gastric gland adenoma(oxyntic gland adenoma,OGA).Methods:The clinical data, pathological characteristics and immunohistochemical phenotypic characteristics of 6 cases of OGA patients were retrospectively analyzed, and relevant domestic and foreign literatures were reviewed. Results:There were 3 males and 3 females in the 6 cases, with an average age of 67 years. The lesions were sessile polyps or superficial elevated, mainly located in the body and fundus of the stomach. They are both single and similar in shape under the microscope. In lamina property of the gastric mucosa, there are clusters of irregular branching, twisted and anastomosed glands, mainly composed of chief cells.Combined with different proportions of parietal cells.Immunohistochemical markers showed positive for MUC6 and pepsinogenⅠ,focal positive for MUC5AC,Syn and CD56,negative for MUC2,and low Ki67 index. Conclusion:OGA is a newly recognized gastric neoplastic lesion with unique histopathological characteristics. The diagnosis needs to be based on principles and distinguish it from other polypoid lesions.EMR or ESD surgical resection can be cured and the prognosis is good.
