Abstract:
Leptomeningeal metastasis(LM)is one of the most serious complications of lung cancer.The clinical manifestations of patients lack specificity and poor prognosis.The diagnosis of meningeal metastases is mainly based on the patient's tumor history,clinical manifestations,enhanced magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and cerebrospinal fluid cytology.However,routine examination is difficult to make an early diagnosis.With the deepening of liquid biopsy research and the development of detection technology,cerebrospinal fluid circulating tumor cell(CSF CTCs)detection as a minimally invasive detection technique has shown good prospects in LM diagnosis.This article reviews the application of circulating tumor cells(CTCs)in the diagnosis of early meningeal metastasis of lung cancer.
