Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of ultrasound-guided pectoral nerves block type 2(PECS-II)and modified serratus anterior plane block(SAPB)after radical mastectomy for breast cancerpatients. Methods:The clinical data of 177 patients with radical mastectomy under general anesthesia were retrospectively analysed.According to whether ultrasound-guided PECS-II block and modified SAPB was combined in the anesthesia mode, the patients were divided into general anesthesia group(G group) and general anesthesia combined PECS-II block and modified SAPB group(GPS group). The basic data, respiratory recovery time extubation time, recovery time, numerical rating scale, intraoperative and postoperative opioid dosage, the incidence of analgesia insufficiency, nausea and vomiting, and average hospital stay were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the G group, patients in the GPS group had shorter respiratory recovery time extubation time, recovery time(P<0.05),less NRS(P<0.05),less intraoperative and postoperative opioid dosage(P<0.05),lower incidence of insufficient analgesia(P<0.05),lower incidence of nausea and vomiting(P<0.05),and lower average hospital stay(P<0.05).Conclusion:When general anesthesia is used for radical mastectomy for breast cancer, compound PECS-II and modified SAPB can shorten the anesthesia recovery time of patients, reduce the dosage of opioids and the occurrence of postoperative pain, reduce postoperative nausea and vomiting, shorten the average length of hospital stay, speed up the recovery of patients, and improve the quality of life of patients.
