Abstract:
Objective:To detecte the expression of immune costimulatory molecule B7-H4 in different cervical tissues,and study the relationship between its abnormal expression and clinicopathological features of cervical cancer patients.Methods:Using immunohistochemical SP method to detecte the expression of B7-H4 in different tissues in pathology department of Shaanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital with 162 paraffin-embedded specimens from 2014 to 2018 including 20 cases of normal cervical tissues,30 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) tissues and 112 cases of cervical cancer tissues with stage Ⅰ-Ⅳ.Results:The positive rate of B7-H4 on normal cervix,CIN and cervical cancer tissue was 0%,20.00%,47.32% respectively,and the differences between groups had statistical significance (P<0.05).In cervical cancer tissues,the expression of B7-H4 had no obvious relationship with the patient age and pathologic grade.With the increase of clinical stage and tumor size,infiltration depth deepening,the vascular tumors and lymph node metastasis,the expression of B7-H4 of cervical cancer increased.The positive expression rate of B7-H4 in cervical cancer tissue before chemotherapy was higher than that after chemotherapy (P<0.05).Conclusion:Negative immune stimulating molecules B7-H4 played important roles in the occurrence and progress of cervical cancer.The synergy may be one of the mechanisms for cervical cancer cells escape the body's immune system.Detection or intervention of B7-H4 expression in cervical cancer may be of great significance in predicting the occurrence,development and immunotherapy of cervical cancer.
