Abstract:
The morphology of nervous system tumors is complex,and it is rather difficult to diagnose nervous system tumors and the original tissues of nervous system tumors.Currently CD57 and S100 proteins have been widely used as molecular biomarkers in diagnosis of some nervous system tumors,due to the expression of CD57 and S100 proteins in nervous system tumors.In recent years,it has been found that SOX10 is also expressed in some nervous system tumors.Therefore,SOX10 can be used to diagnose nervous system tumors and identify the original tissues of nervous system tumors,which is a potential molecular biomarker with high specificity.This article reviews the clinical significance of SOX10,CD57,S100 expression in nervous system tumors,and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of these three molecules as biomarkers in the differential diagnosis of nervous system tumors.
