Abstract:
Serine/glycine metabolism plays an important role in biological metabolism by providing one-carbon unit, synthesis of other amino acids, nucleotides and lipid, and synthesizing reducing substances to maintain the balance of cell redox. In recent years,a large number of studies have shown that serine/glycine metabolism plays a crucial role in tumor's development and treatment. The studies of serine/glycine metabolism in tumors were reviewed.
