Abstract:
Long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) is a kind of RNA that is longer than 200 nucleotides and lacks protein-coding capacity.It not only participates in many physiological processes such as cell proliferation,differentiation and apoptosis,but also participates in pathological processes of various diseases.In recent years,more and more studies have shown that the abnormal expression of LncRNA is related to the proliferation,invasion,migration and overall survival of renal cell carcinoma.Some scholars have elaborated or speculated on its mechanism of action,and obtained unprecedented new discoveries.The overall mechanism of action is also being further studied.With the development of basic and applied research and the innovation of science and technology,the potential mechanism of LncRNA function will be gradually unveiled,providing a new breakthrough for early diagnosis,prognosis and therapeutic targets of renal cell carcinoma.This article reviews the recent advances in LncRNA as a biomarker for prognosis of renal cell carcinoma.
