Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of Yichangcuyu decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of patients with radiation enteritis secondary to radiotherapy for cervical cancer.Methods:100 patients with radiation enteritis secondary to radiotherapy for cervical cancer were chosen in the period from July 2015 to July 2017 in our hospital and randomly divided into both group including control group(50 cases) with western medicine used alone and tradition Chinese medicine(TCM) combined with western medicine group(50 cases)with Yichangcuyu decoction combined with western medicine.And the comprehensive clinical effects,endoscopic clinical effects,the main syndrome score,daily life quality score and the levels of transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1) before and after treatment and the incidence of drugs toxicity and side effects of both groups were compared.Results:The comprehensive clinical effects and endoscopic clinical effects of TCM combined with western medicine group were significant better than control group(P<0.05).The main syndrome score after treatment of TCM combined with western medicine group were significant lower than control group and before treatment(P<0.05).The EORTC QOL-C30 scores after treatment of TCM combined with western medicine group were significant higher than control group and before treatment(P<0.05).The levels of TGF-β1 after treatment of TCM combined with western medicine group were significant lower than control group and before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of drugs toxicity and side effects between 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Yichangcuyu decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of patients with radiation enteritis secondary to radiotherapy for cervical cancer can efficiently relieve the symptoms of gastrointestinal and systemic,promote the repair process of normal mucosa damage,improve the quality of daily life,regulate the levels of TGF-β1 and not aggravate the drugs toxicity and side effects.
