Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the expression and clinical signifcance of SATB1 in Uygur and Han in southern Xinjiang in cervix cancer.Methods:The expressions of special AT-rich sequence binding protein(SATB1) in 300 patients with cervix cancer,cervical intraepithelial neoplasias(CIN),cervicitis(Uygur 150 cases,Han 150 cases) were investigated with immunohistochem technique.Results:The expression of SATB1 had a significant difference between different degree of cervical lesions groups(P=0.00),except the contrast of CINⅠgroup and cervicitis group(P=0.38).There was no significant difference in the expression of SATB1 between Uygur and Han women(P=0.69).Conclusion:The expression of SATB1 had no significance difference among different nationalities.Show that SATB1 expression of commonality in Han and Uygnr in southern Xinjiang at the occurrence and development of cervix cancer has no inter-ethnic differences in genetic background.The expression of SATB1 in patients with cervix cancer are higher than in CIN and normal cervix organize,if further studying may offer the theoretical foundation to the treatment of cancer of the cervix.
