Objective:To study the molecular mechanism of active compound of green tea(EGCG) in the treatment of ovarian cancer.Methods:Target proteins of EGCG related genes of ovarian cancer were searched from PubChem and Gene databases online respectively.Canonical pathways and molecular networks comparison analyses were performed by IPA.Results:There were 232 common pathways in EGCG target proteins and ovarian cancer related gene,and top 3 shared signaling pathway primarily involve molecular mechanisms of cancer,inflammation,and cytokine signaling.There were 6 common networks focused on cell death and survival,cellular growth and proliferation,cellular development,DNA replication,recombination and repair,post-transcriptional modifications,and protein synthesis.In the pathway,we proposed that Jun,FADD,NF-κB,BCL2,HIF1α,and MMP act as the reacting sites for EGCG to treat ovarian cancer.Conclusion:EGCG treated ovarian cancer by regulating many targets of cancer related signal pathways.
