Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the different manifestations of 18F-FDG,PET/CT in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) in elderly patients, and to determine whether it can improve the accuracy of HCC diagnosis. Methods:Two hospitals were selected respectively in 120 cases, with pathological confirmation.included liver cancer group and benign lesion group. After 18F-FDG PET/CT for liver surgery was underwent, the maximum standard uptake value(SUVmax) and retention index of the lesions in the early and delayed phases were calculated, and the ratio of the lesion SUVmax to the liver basal SUVmax(T/N) was calculated. The change of lesion in HCC group and benign lesion group was analyzed. Results:The difference between the early stage and the delayed phase of SUVmax in the HCC group was statistically significant. There was no significant difference in the benign lesion group between the early stage and the delayed phase SUVmax. The ratio of T/N in HCC group was significantly different between the early stage and the delayed phase. There was no significant difference in the ratio of T/N between the early stage and the delayed phase in the benign lesion group. The difference of retention index between the two groups was not statistically significant.Conclusion:18F-FDG,PET/CT dual phase imaging can improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma.
