Abstract:
Objective:To study the clinical and histopathological features, surgical treatment and adjuvant therapy for the prognosis of sinus and nasal mucosal melanoma, stage Ⅲ-Ⅳa(2010 US AJCC Seventh Revised Edition). Methods:A retrospective study of patients with stage Ⅲ-Va stage sinus and nasal mucosal melanoma treated in 2006—2017 was conducted. Results:A total of 16 patients with sinus and nasal mucosal melanoma were enrolled, including 7 males and 9 females, with an average age of 63.5(35~81) years old, with a follow-up of 23.5(7~76) months. The first-year survival rate was 81.25%,the third-year survival rate was 18.75%,and the fifth-year survival rate was 12.50%.5 patients received adjuvant radiotherapy and 6 patients received adjuvant biotherapy. Conclusion:Malignant melanoma of nasal sinus and paranasal sinus is of high malignancy, poor prognosis, high recurrence and metastasis, and the comprehensive treatment is the first choice.
