Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the value of serum procalcitonin and C-reactive protein (CRP) in the detection of early infection in patients with emergency malignant tumor.Methods:To select from our hospital in December 2015 to January 2017 emergency early infection in patients with malignant tumor in 67 cases for the observation group,and during December 2015 to January 2017 not infected with malignant tumor in our hospital patients as a control group of 60 cases.The peripheral blood samples were collected at the fasting period after admission,and the serum was isolated.The content of procalcitonin was determined by electrochemiluminescence,and the content of C-reactive protein was determined by turbidimetric immunoassay.The levels of serum C-reactive protein and procalcitonin,the positive rates of C-reactive protein and procalcitonin were compared between the two groups,and the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of C-reactive protein combined with procalcitonin were recorded.Results:The levels and positive rates of C-reactive protein and procalcitonin in observation group were higher than the control group (P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity in combined detection of C-reactive protein and procalcitonin were higher than C-reactive alone and procalcitonin alone (P<0.05).Conclusion:For early infection,serum procalcitonin and C-reactive protein levels are increased in emergency patients with malignant tumor,and the sensitivity and specificity of C-reactive protein combined with procalcitonin are of great significance.
