Abstract:
Objective :To investigate the clinical value of double contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(DCUS) in the diagnosis of gastric cancer.Methods:47 patients with gastric carcinoma were examined by DCUS before surgery.The location，size，gross type,T and N staging of the tumor were evaluated，then compared with final pathologic results respectively.Results:The accuracy of the localization by DUCS was 85.10%（40/47）.DUCS could accurately measure the thickness of gastric wall invasion（P＞0.05）.The accuracy of judging bromann type was 86.84%（33/38)，the assessment of was highly consistent with histopathology（Kappa=0.783）.The accuracy of DUCS in T staging was 72.34%（34/47），the assessment of T staging was highly consistent with histopathology（Kappa=0.614）.The accuracy of DUCS in N staging was 59.57%（28/47），the assessment of N staging was poor consistent with histopathology（Kappa=0.395）.Conclusion:DUCS could accurately evaluate the location，size，gross type and T staging of gastric cancer.DCUS can become a reliable diagnosis method and supplementary diagnostic examination of gastric cancer.
