Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the relationship between the expression of mucin 1(MUCs1) in colorectal cancer and its clinical characteristics.Methods:A total of 82 patients with colorectal cancer who were treated in our hospital from June 2015 to May 2016 were selected as the study subjects.All the patients after operation and normal colorectal tissue were used as study materials.The expression of MUCs1 mRNA was detected by Real-time PCR and the TNM staging of colorectal cancer patients was analyzed.The recurrence,metastasis and death of 6 months and 12 months after operation were analyzed by RT-PCR.And the relationship between the expression of MUCs1 mRNA in normal colorectal tissues and cancer tissues.Results:The expression level of MUCs1 mRNA in T1-T4 and N0-N3 staging patients was significantly higher than that in normal tissues(P<0.05).The expression levels of MUCs1 mRNA in cancer tissues of patients with recurrence,metastasis and death were significantly different from those of normal tissues at 6 months and 12 months after operation(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression of MUCs1 mRNA in cancer tissues of patients with recurrence,metastasis and death after 6 months and 12 months after operation was significantly different from that of patients without recurrence,non-metastasis and not die(P<0.05).Conclusion:The expression of mucin 1 in colorectal cancer was positively correlated with prognosis.
