Abstract:
Breast cancer has become the most commonly cancer worldwide and is a serious threat to women's health.Magnetic resonance imaging, with its multi-parameter,multi-sequence,high soft tissue resolution and absence of ionizing radiation,is increasingly being used to identify benign and malignant breast lesions. With the rapid development of magnetic resonance technology in recent years, new imaging methods have emerged, providing more and more valuable references for the detection of benign and malignant breast lesions.Among them, ultrafast dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging, synthetic magnetic resonance imaging, magnetic resonance fingerprinting and a series of advanced diffusion weighted imaging techniques, such as intravoxel incoherent movement, diffusion kurtosis imaging and stretched exponential model, can describe the underlying histological and pathological features of breast lesions from different perspectives and provide strong support for benign and malignant identification. This article will systematically and thoroughly describe the value of these new magnetic resonance imaging techniques for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions from various perspectives, including imaging principles, technical features and clinical applications.
