Abstract:
Radiotherapy is an important part of comprehensive treatment of breast cancer, but its cardiopulmonary dose can easily lead to complications such as radiation heart disease. Therefore, how to reduce the cardiac dose and the complications of radiotherapy has become the research focus of precision radiotherapy for breast cancer.Deep inspiration breath-hold is a type of breathing control method, which can be used in radiotherapy to reduce the exposure dose to the heart and lungs and other organs at risk,in order to reduce radiation-induced heart damage and improve the long-term prognosis of patients. This article aims to outline the cardiotoxicity caused by breast cancer radiotherapy and its protection methods, and the dose advantages and applications of deep inspiration breath-hold technique to provide ideas and directions for clinical and scientific research.
