Abstract:
Objective:To detect the expression of NOP2/Sun RNA methyltransferase family member 2(NSUN2) in renal clear cell carcinoma(ccRCC) tissue and analyze its relationship with clinicopathological features and prognosis.Methods:A total of 95 ccRCC tissue wax specimens and 95 para-cancer tissue wax specimens were collected.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression level of NSUN2 in the two groups,and the clinicopathological relationship between NSUN2 and ccRCC patients was analyzed.Kaplan-Meier survival analysis,Log-rank univariate analysis and Cox multivariate analysis were used to detect the correlation between NSUN2 expression and prognosis of ccRCC patients.Results:The high expression rate of NSUN2 in cancer tissues was 69.5%,and the high expression rate in para-cancer tissues was 15.8%,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The high expression of NSUN2 was related to tumor size,histological grade,lymphatic metastasis and clinical stage(P<0.05).Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and Cox regression model showed that the expression level of NSUN2 was associated with the prognosis of ccRCC.Conclusion:NSUN2 is highly expressed in ccRCC tissues,and is related to the clinicopathological features and prognosis of ccRCC,which could be used as an indicator of prognosis of ccRCC.
