Abstract:
Objective:To apply ultrasound measurement of optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) to evaluate the effects of propofol and remimazolam benzenesulfonate on intracranial pressure and quality of postoperative awakening in patients who underwent laparoscopy surgeries with gynecological tumors.Methods:Forty-two patients underwent laparoscopy surgeries with gynecological tumors,with age 18~65 years old,body mass index (BMI) 18.0~27.0 kg/m2,ASA classification I-II.Patients were randomly divided into propofol group (P group) and remimazolam group (R group),21 cases in each group.Propofol was intravenously pumped in group P,and remimazolam was intravenously pumped in group R.Remifentanil was pumped intravenously in both groups and rocuronium bromide was added on time.Volume-controlled ventilation mode was used with VT 6~8 mL/kg,inspiratory/expiratory ratio 1∶2,FiO2 50%,and RR 12~18 times/min.ONSD was recorded at 5 min after intubation of anaesthesia (T0),immediately (T1),30 min (T2),60 min (T3),90 min (T4) after pneumoperitoneum head-down position,and at the end of the pneumoperitoneum after resumption of the flat lying position for 10 min (T5).The time of extubation,modified observer's assessment of alert/sedation (MOAA/S) at 5 min after extubation,and the length of stay in postanesthesia care unit (PACU) were recorded.Results:Compared with T0,the ONSD values were significantly higher in both groups at T1~T4 time points (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the quality of postoperative awakening between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:The anaesthetic effect of remimazolam benzenesulfonate for laparoscopic surgeries with gynecological tumors was comparable to that of propofol without increasing ONSD and intracranial pressure,while there was no significant difference in the quality of postoperative awakening between the two groups.
