Abstract:
In recent years,the incidence of cancer related malnutrition (CM) has increased year by year,while the rate of treating is still low,so its diagnosis and treatment have attracted great attention at home and abroad.Nowadays,level Ⅲ diagnosis has been the main model of cancer related malnutrition,but the evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine has not been formed.The progression of cancer related malnutrition is caused by multiple etiological factors,and the specific mechanism has not been fully elucidated,which leads to the poor effect of Western medicine treatment based on nutritional support and symptomatic treatment.By treating based on syndrome differentiation,TCM achieves certain therapeutic effects using the principle of "Supporting the righteous and dispelling the evil,reviving the center and supplementing the deficiency".However,the assessment of malnutrition based on Western medicine efficacy indexes cannot accurately measure the degree of symptomatic improvement,which makes the efficacy of Chinese medicine not quantifiable and easily ignored.Therefore,this paper will review the pathogenesis of cancer related malnutrition and the current status of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment,in order to provide a reference for the screening,evaluation and treatment of cancer related malnutrition.
