Abstract:
Caveolin-1 (CAV1) is one of the basic components of lacunae on cell membranes and is a complete membrane protein.CAV1-related signal transduction regulates cell proliferation,invasion,cell death and lipid metabolism,and is associated with a variety of immune-related signals.Chemotherapy is an important mean for the clinical treatment of tumor and the prevention of tumor recurrence,but drug resistance and decreased sensitivity often occur during the treatment,which greatly weakens the therapeutic effect of chemotherapy,and CAV1 is closely related to the drug resistance and sensitivity of tumor chemotherapy.In this paper,the relevant mechanisms and research progress are reviewed,and the future development direction of this field is discussed,in order to provide help for clinical trials and mechanism research based on tumor chemotherapy therapy.
