Abstract:
Ceruloplasmin(Cp) is a copper-containing α-2 globulin,a member of the multicopper oxidase family, which is mainly distributed in human plasma. The functions of Cp mainly include copper transport, iron homeostasis regulation, oxidase activities, antioxidant activities,acute-phase protein, which play an important role in the occurrence and development of many diseases. With the continuous development of scientific research, the roles of Cp in various tumors has been revealed, suggesting its potential clinical value. In this review, the research progress of Cp in tumorigeneses and development in recent years will be reviewed,so as to provide certain reference for subsequent clinical and basic scientific research.
