Abstract:
Objective:To explore the predictive ability of CD19+ B lymphocyte subsets combined with nutritional risk index (NRI) in the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer underwent radical resection.Methods:This study included 268 patients with gastric cancer who underwent radical resection in our hospital between January 2016 and December 2017.The observation indicators of this study were progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS).The differences in clinical and pathological characteristics were analyzed using the chi-square test or independent samples t-test.The survival status was evaluated using the Kaplan-Meier survival curve and Log-rank test.Cox regression analysis was performed to determine the independent prognostic factors,and nomogram was utilized to predict the probability of survival.Results:Patients were divided into two groups based on CD19+ B lymphocyte and NRI levels,with 99 patients in group 1 and 169 patients in group 2.Group 1 had shorter PFS (HR=0.384,P<0.001) and OS (HR=0.369,P<0.001),and CD19+ B lymphocyte combined with NRI was also identified as an independent prognostic factor in this study.The C-index and 95%CI of the nomograms for PFS and OS were 0.774(0.729~0.820) and 0.779(0.733~0.825),respectively.Conclusion:CD19+ B lymphocyte subsets combined with NRI could accurately predict the prognosis of gastric cancer patients who underwent radical resection.
