Abstract:
Acute myeloid leukemia is the most common hematological malignancy disorder in adults with unsatisfactory long-term survival.The Wnt signaling pathway exerts biological functions through the β-catenin-dependent canonical pathway and the β-catenin-independent non-canonical pathway,which is abnormally activated in acute myeloid leukemia,and is closely associated with proliferation,drug resistance,as well as leukemic stem cell survival of AML cells.We review the composition of the Wnt signaling pathway,the mechanisms of canonical and non-canonical Wnt signaling pathway,and review the progress of Wnt signaling pathway in acute myeloid leukemia.
