Abstract:

Objective:To evaluate the life quality of newly diagnosed breast cancer patients at first follow-up in community and explore the influencing factors.Methods:There were 308 breast cancer patients diagnosed between January 2020 and January 2021 included by this cross-sectional investigation.The questionnaire was filled at first follow-up in community,containing background information of the patients and questions from the questionnaire of SAS and FACT-B.The distribution of overall score of the life quality of breast cancer patients and scores in every dimensions of the life quality were described.Multiple linear regression model was used to explore the influencing factors of the life quality.Results:The average overall score of overall life quality of the breast cancer patients was 94.79±16.92.The average scores on dimensions of physiological well-being,social/family well-being,emotional well-being,functional well-being and additional concerns were 20.88±4.97,18.22±5.25,18.65±3.31,12.12±6.18 and 24.92±3.87,respectively.The degree of anxiety,degree of pain,different types of symptoms and physical exercise would be the main influencing factors to the life quality of breast cancer patients (P＜0.05).The quality of life was more likely to become worse with the rise of the degree of pain and the degree of anxiety (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The degree of anxiety,degree of pain,different types of symptoms and physical exercise had adverse effect on the life quality of breast cancer patient who have been included in community management for the first time.The specific community rehabilitation guidance will improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients.
