Abstract:
Pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase 1(PYCR1) is a key enzyme in proline synthesis.Recent studies have found that PYCR1 is highly expressed in malignant tumors and affects the malignant biological behavior of tumors.It is expected to be a new potential tumor marker and therapeutic target.This article summarized the structure and distribution of PYCR1 gene,and the mechanism of PYCR1 gene in proliferation,invasion,drug resistance of malignant tumor cells.Finally,we discussed the regulatory molecules and inhibitors related to PYCR1 gene.
