Abstract:
Lung cancer is a common malignant tumor worldwide.The incidence rate and mortality rate of men are the highest.In women,the incidence rate is second only to breast and colorectal cancer,and the mortality rate is only inferior to that of breast cancer.Autophagy is a highly conserved catabolic process in cells.It mainly degrades the aggregated proteins and damaged organelles,and then participates in cell metabolism and the renewal of internal organelles.This process is essential for maintaining the homeostasis of healthy cells.At present,studies have shown that autophagy is closely related to the occurrence,development and treatment of lung cancer.This paper mainly reviews the latest research results,summarizes the role of autophagy in the occurrence,development and treatment of lung cancer,and finds the potential value of autophagy in the treatment of lung cancer,hoping to provide some new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
