Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of the Pingxiao capsule combined with conventional chemotherapy (R-CHOP) on elderly patients with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL).Methods:A total of 80 patients (>60 years old) with B-NHL admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with R-CHOP chemotherapy,while the experimental group was treated with Pingxiao capsule combined with R-CHOP.The difference in efficacy between the two groups was compared and analyzed.Results:The ORR and CR rates of the experimental group were 90.00% and 40.00%,respectively,higher than those of the control group (P＜0.05).The proportion of CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+,and CD56+cells in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,and the proportion of CD8+cells was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the experimental group and the control group.Conclusion:In the clinical treatment of elderly patients with B-NHL,the application of Pingxiao capsule combined with R-CHOP regimen is helpful to improve the efficacy and immune function,with mild adverse reactions and good safety.
