Abstract:
In recent years,biomarkers have played an important role in the detection and treatment of cancer patients,and the search for new biomarkers has become a research hotspot.FoxM1 is a widely studied transcription factor,a large number of studies have found that FoxM1 is highly expressed in a variety of tumors compared with paracancerous tissues.The main function of FoxM1 is to regulate the transcriptional activation of factors involved in cell cycle transition to participate in the occurrence and development of tumors.However,the expression and the role of FoxM1 in malignant tumors have not been systematically elucidated,and the research on its specific mechanism and application as a tumor biomarker and therapeutic target is still in its infancy.Systematic elucidation of the expression and the role of FoxM1 in tumors may provide insights for predicting the prognosis of tumors and selecting new therapeutic targets.
