Abstract:
Tumor-associated macrophages exist widely in a variety of tumor microenvironments, and they are also one of the more abundant immune cells in tumor microenvironment. They play an important role in the development of various tumors. Bladder cancer is a common solid tumor. A large number of literatures have reported that tumor-related macrophages are closely related to the occurrence and development of bladder cancer. This paper will summarize the previous research results from the polarization of tumor-related macrophages and tumor-associated macrophages to promote the growth, invasion and metastasis of bladder cancer. In addition, this paper also summarizes the potential anticancer therapeutic methods targeted at tumor-associated macrophages by exploring the mechanism of tumor-associated macrophages in the occurrence and development of bladder cancer.
