Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the expression of long-chain non-coding fork protein F1-antisense RNA1 in gastric cancer and its relationships with clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis. Methods:From February 2014 to July 2015,87 patients with gastric cancer in our hospital were studied.Gastric cancer tissues and adjacent (>5 cm) tissues were obtained during operation. The expression of lncRNA FOXF1-AS1 in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues was detected by fluorescence quantitative PCR.The clinical data and clinicopathological features of the patients collected and analyzed.Kaplan-Meier was used to analyze the 3-year survival of patients with gastric cancer,COX regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors of adverse prognosis of gastric cancer. Results:The expression level of lncRNA FOXF1-AS1 in gastric cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues (P<0.05).According to the average expression of lncRNA FOXF1-AS1,patients were divided into high expression group and low expression group, the expression of lncRNA FOXF1-AS1 was correlated with the depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage in gastric cancer patients (P<0.05),and not with age, pathological type and tumor diameter (P>0.05).Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the 3-year progression-free survival rate and overall survival rate of patients with high expression of lncRNA FOXF1-AS1 were significantly higher than those with low expression of lncRNA FOXF1-AS1 (P<0.05).COX multivariate analysis showed that lymphatic metastasis and expression of lncRNA FOXF1-AS1 were independent risk factors for prognosis of gastric cancer patients (P<0.05).Conclusion:The expression of lncRNA FOXF1-AS1 in gastric cancer is down-regulated,which is related to the depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and survival of patients with gastric cancer. It is an independent risk factor affecting the prognosis of patients, and can be used as a reference index for prognosis judgment of patients.
