Abstract:
Objective:To investigate type-specific persistent infection of HPV in Uighur women and associated virus factors. Methods:HPV positive and random selective HPV negative women who attended the cervical cancer screening women in September 2012 to September 2013 in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Hospital outpatient as screening objects were done questionnaire survey, and HPV positive women did HPV genotypes test and biopsy under colposcope detecting pathological diagnosis,to follow-up the women of chronic cervicitis for 24 to 36 months.Using Logistic regression to analyses its influencing factors.Results:Type-specific HPV persistence in Uighur women in the follow-up of 12,24,36 months was 25.5%(65/255),15.7%(40/255),11.0%(28/255),respectively.Viral load>1 000 pg/ml was compared to viral load in 1≤HPV≤100 (OR:2.40,95%CI:1.11~5.15)in the follow-up of 12 months.Pure infection was compared to multiple infectionin the follow-up of 24,24 months(OR:3.07,95%CI:1.23~7.68.OR:4.31,95%CI:1.10~16.90).HPV16 infection was compared to non-HPV16 infection(OR:4.81,95%CI:2.63~8.18.OR:2.73,95%CI:1.08~6.88.OR:4.69,95%CI:1.10~19.97) in the follow-up of 12,24,36 months, which increased the risk of type-specific HPV persistent infection. Conclusion:Uighur women with HPV16 positive, high viral load will likely increase risk from a transient into the persistent,so strengthening follow-up of the crowd is necessary.
