Abstract:
Perineural invasion(PNI) is considered to be a new type of the metastatic pathways of manligant tumors and is related to the prognosis of multiple tumors. The interactions between nerves and tumor cells mainly include changes in cell morphology and intermolecular interactions.A variety of molecules in the tumor microenvironment, including neurotrophic factors, chemokines, adhesion molecules and neurotransmitters, play an important role in the formation of tumor PNI.By understanding the interaction between nerves and tumors,it helps reveal the mechanism of tumor formation or metastasis as well as optimize clinical diagnosis and treatment.
