Abstract:
Objective:To detect and discuss the differences of serum metabolomics in patients with esophageal carcinoma treated by chemoradiation,and to analyze the specific expression of the metabolomics of esophageal cancer.Methods:We collected 71 serum specimen of esophageal carcinoma treated by chemoradiation.Using nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) for the determination of the content of metabonomics in serum samples,using orthogonal partial least-squares discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA) to analysis clinical significance of placed chemoradiation serum metabonomics product.Results:Before and after chemoradiation,plasma lactate,creatinine,lipids,glycerol ester,unsaturated fatty acid content increased(P<0.05),formic acid,aspartic acid,trimethylamine,choline content reduced (P<0.05).Conclusion:There was significantly difference of metabonomics in patients with esophageal carcinoma before and after chemoradiation.Our results highlight the NMR-based metabolomics approach may provide ametabolic refference for the diagnosis of EC.
