Abstract:
Vasculogenic mimicry (VM),as a new type of endotheliocyte-independent blood supply model of tumor, has been concerned recently. Many factors, such as hypoxia,epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and the existence of cancer stem cells (CSCs) play important roles in the VM formation and tumor, including cervical cancer. It can provide new ideas for the treatment of recurrence and metastasis of cervical cancer through studying the mechanisms of VM and its influencing factors in cervical cancer progression.
