Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of amide proton transfer imaging and diffusion weighted imaging in invasive breast cancer.Method:Sixty cases of breast masses suggested by clinical palpation or B-ultrasonography were collected for MR examination. All patients were scanned with 3D-APT,DWI sequences, and APT and ADC values were measured.Based on the surgical and pathological results,a total of 61 lesions were divided into benign (19 cases) and malignant (42 cases) groups.Independent sample t-tests were used to compare the differences in various parameters between the benign and malignant groups.ROC curves were used to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of APT and ADC values,as well as the combination of the two in distinguishing benign and malignant breast. Results:The APT values of the benign and malignant groups were (2.01±0.72) and (2.55±0.66),respectively.The ADC values of the benign and malignant groups were (1.28±0.25)×10-3 mm2/s and (1.08±0.26)×10-3 mm2/s,respectively.The difference in APT and ADC values between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).The AUC values of APT,ADC,and combined APT+ADC in distinguishing benign and malignant breast masses were 0.660,0.756,and 0.796,respectively (P<0.05).Conclusion:APT and DWI can be used to diagnose invasive breast cancer.APT diagnosis is lower than ADC value, and the combination of the two can further improve diagnostic efficiency.
