Abstract:
Glioma is one of the most common tumors in the central nervous system, with unrevealed pathogenesis, lack of targeted drugs, and poor prognosis.Ras homolog family member A (RhoA),an important molecular switch of cell signaling,is reported to get involved in glioma cell proliferation, transformation, adhesion, migration, invasion et al.Meanwhile,RhoA mediated signaling pathways and their intricate effects are complicated.A comprehensive understanding of the role of RhoA in the occurrence and development of gliomas is of great significance. In present review,we will summarize and discuss the progress on how RhoA mediate the pathogenesis of glioma, which can not only throw light on the pathogenesis of glioma, but also provide clues for developing targeted drugs of glioma.
