Abstract:
Filamin A,also known as FLNA,proteins is an actin-binding protein that participates in varieties of physiological and pathological processes in humans.With the advance of oncology and molecular biology,increasing evidence indicates that FLNA and its wide range of partner proteins constituting a sophisticated molecular regulatory network plays a significant role in many kinds of tumors' pathogenesis,development,metastasis,and drug resistance in many common tumors such as breast cancer,colorectal cancer,prostate cancer and non-small cell lung cancer.FLNA and its partner proteins may become a new molecular marker and therapeutic target for many tumors,providing more ideas and directions for diagnosing and treatment of tumors.This paper reviews the structural and functional characteristics of FLNA and its development in multiple tumors.
