Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the influence factors of radiotherapy compliance in patients with thoracic and abdominal tumors and its effect on setup errors.Methods:Patients with thoracic or abdominal tumors receiving radiotherapy in our hospital from March 2021 to June 2022 were investigated by using self-made compliance rating table，and were divided into group A（compliance score≥12) and group B（compliance score<12)，and 25 patients were randomly selected respectively.The EPID was used to take position verification films for patients every week，and the setup errors was calculated by comparing with the DRR images generated by the treatment planning system.The size of setup errors between the two groups was compared and analyzed.Results:The setup errors of group A was smaller than that of group B in left and right（X)，head and foot（Y)，front and back（Z) directions（P<0.05).The setup errors in the direction of the head and foot(Y) was greater than that in the direction of left and right（X) and the direction of front and back（Z)（P<0.05).There was no significant difference in X direction and Z direction（P>0.05).With the advance of treatment time，the setup errors in three directions showed a decreasing trend in the group B（P<0.05)，while there was no statistical difference in the group A（P>0.05).Conclusion:For patients with thoracic and abdominal tumors,the better the radiotherapy compliance the less the setup errors.The setup errors of patients with poor compliance decreased gradually with the treatment time，and the values were close to those of patients with good compliance.In order to improve the effect of radiotherapy for patients with thoracic and abdominal tumors，effective measures should be taken to improve treatment compliance and reduce the setup errors.
