Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the clinical manifestations,diagnosis and treatment of a patient with meningeal metastasis of ovarian cancer,and to discuss the treatment plan of meningeal metastasis of ovarian cancer combined with previous literature reports.Methods:The clinical data of a BRCA2 mutated patient with meningeal metastasis of ovarian cancer admitted to our department in January 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.The treatment protocol was Olaparib/Niraparib.The clinical efficacy was evaluated according to the patient's neurological symptoms,cranial magnetic resonance and cerebrospinal fluid cytology.Results：After treatment,the patient's neurological symptoms were significantly relieved,cerebellar metastases disappeared,meningeal enhancement was reduced,cerebrospinal fluid cytology was stable,and the patient's OS was 23 months.Conclusion:PARP inhibitors alone are effective in treating meningeal metastases of BRCA-mutated ovarian cancer that cannot be treated with chemotherapy.
