Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the clinicopathological feature,diagnosis,differential diagnosis and treatment of primary extramedullary plasmacytoma(EMP) in cervix.Methods:The clinical data,pathological features and immunophenotype of 1 EMP patient in cervix were analyzed,and the relative literature was reviewed．Results:The tumor cells were diffusely distributed and mainly composed of plasma cells with various differentiation.Nuclear division was visible.Immunohistochemically staining showed that CD38,CD138,CD79a,Kappa,MUM-1 and CD56 in tumor cells were positive,and CKpan,Lambda,CD3,CD20,CD19,PAX-5 and EBER were negative.The positive rate of Ki-67 was about 40%.Conclusion:Primary extramedullary plasmacytoma in the cervix was a rare plasma cell monoclonal proliferative indolent lymphoma occurring outside the bone marrow.Systemic examination,histological features,immunohistochemistry and molecular detection were required for making a definitive diagnosis and preventing the missed diagnosis.
