Abstract:
The circadian clock is a master regulator of organisms and it participates in various crucial physiological processes.So far various studies have confirmed a close relationship between circadian clock dysfunction and tumorigenesis as well as tumor progression.The circadian clock plays a critical role in tumor by cell cycle,apoptosis,oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes,material and energy metabolism,tumor microenvironment.Circadian clock-oriented chronotherapy for malignancy shows promising prospects.This article aims to review the research progresses of circadian clock in malignancy.
