Abstract:
Objective:To explore the prognostic value of associating neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR) and circulating tumor cells(CTCs) counts in patients with colorectal cancer.Methods:We collected the data of 39 patients with colorectal cancer who received different therapies from August 2016 to October 2020.We conducted the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves to calculate the cut-off value of NLR and CTCs.And we analyzed the DFS and OS by Kaplan-Meier analysis.Results:Patients with higher NLR had shorter DFS and OS than patients with lower NLR.Meanwhile,high CTCs group had poorer prognosis than low CTCs group.When combining NLR and CTCs to analyze the prognosis of colorectal cancer,we found that patients with both higher NLR and higher CTCs counts tended to have poorer prognosis.Conclusion:NLR and CTCs are considered as independent prognostic factor in colorectal cancer patients.In addition,associating NLR and CTCs counts can predict the prognosis of colorectal cancer as well.
