Abstract:
Objective:To explore the clinical role of ultrasound in evaluating and guiding the preparation process of artificial pneumothorax before preparation, and observe the efficacy and safety of microwave ablation(MWA) under artificial pneumothorax. Methods:A retrospective analysis of 21 patients undergoing microwave ablation of lung tumors near the wall pleura under ultrasound-assisted artificial pneumothorax from January 1,2017 to December 31,2019 was conducted.Ultrasound examination was performed before microwave ablation to assess whether the tumor invaded the parietal pleura, intraoperative ultrasound or CT guided artificial pneumothorax preparation,CT guided microwave ablation treatment. The success rate of ultrasound in the preparation and preparation of artificial pneumothorax was analysed. The degree of lung tumor pain and the first complete ablation rate near the wall pleura under artificial pneumothorax were observed. Results:Ultrasound examination showed that the tumor did not invade the chest wall of 21 patients, the successful preparation of 18 cases of artificial pneumothorax, the success rate of 85.71%(18/21).There were 18 cases of artificial pneumothorax assisted microwave ablation without pain in 2 patients,12 patients with mild pain,4 cases with moderate pain and no severe pain. There was no moderate or severe pain and chest wall injury after operation. The first complete ablation rate was 83.33%(15/18).Conclusion:Ultrasound can effectively evaluate the preparation of artificial pneumothorax, improve the success rate of artificial pneumothorax, improve the rate of first complete ablation, and alleviate the pain and complications of chest wall injury in patients during and after operation.
