Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the correlation between the expression of RECK and MMP-9 and the recurrence of salivary gland pleomorphic adenoma tumors.Methods:Transcription and protein expression levels of RECK and MMP-9 in 15 cases of salivary glandular pleomorphic adenomas and 19 cases of recurrent pleomorphic adenomas were detected by fluorescence real-time quantitative PCR and cell climbing.Results:The PCR results showed that the expression of RECK mRNA in recurrent PA cells was significantly lower than that in the initial type,and the mRNA of MMP-9 in recurrent PA cells was significantly higher than that in the initial type.The results were statistically significant（P＜0.05).The ratios of RECK/MMP-9 in priming and recurrent PA cells were 15.89 and 0.33.The RECK/MMP-9 ratio decreased from 15.89 to 0.33.Cell crawling showed that the expression of RECK in the recurrent PA cells was lower than that in the initial type,while the positive expression of MMP-9 in the initial PA cells was lower than that in the recurrent type.The results were statistically significant（P＜0.05).The ratios of RECK/MMP-9 in primal and recurrent PA cells were 1.76 and 0.60.The RECK/MMP-9 ratio decreased from 1.76 to 0.60.Conclusion:The expression of RECK and MMP-9 are significantly different in salivary glandular and recurrent pleomorphic adenomas.Which may be related to the recurrence of salivary glands pleomorphic adenomas.
